I don't think this is an abrupt ending at all. It was a seamless transition with the others. I definitely liked how you made the characters believable.

Some stories are just like: Nora & George: "OMG, Casey & Derek loves each other--we knew all along." It's really ridiculous, but your version is a lot more believable because they're older and wiser.

Jennifer always seemed like a nice girl to me, so I'm glad you didn't make a complete b* for Derek breaking off the engagement or make her scream at Casey. She may be kind of ditzy, but she's perceptive.

okay, I'm completely and wholly blowen away. BUT, I really wanted to know what's up with Lizzie. She and Edwin I believed should have been a bigger part in the story, but oh well, Derek and Casey ended up togehter.

oh what an absolutly lovely story- terribly well written too. I really enjoyed it, and im glad there was a happy ending.

I'm really loving this story. It has an interesting plot and it's *very* well written. You've really got Casey's 'voice' down. I'm pretty sure I read this awhile back but I can't really remember what happens (I have such a bad memory! all the stories start to blend together :-P).

SO a thought that came into my head when I was reading the scene between Derek and Jeff was that it sounded like it came straight from a movie. Then I started thinking about the rest of the story and seriously it would be a great movie idea. So find a studio that's interested and make that movie! haha.

And I also love that Derek is actually in love and cares about his fiance. I've read more than one ff that made his fiance out to be annoying and not a person that Derek actually cares about at all. I mean obviously he wants Casey more than his fiance which isn't exactly right but I like that he does care about Jennifer too.

I've been a fan of yours ever since I got hooked on Dasey. This story is actually the very first one I read in this category... and it started my (some would say unhealthy) obsession with this ship. I just fell in love with this story and your writing. Your portrayal of the characters is so well-rounded and believable, they develop and grow with the story and it's just wonderfully written from start to finish, or should I say "from the beginning to the end"? (Ha! I crack myself up.)

I don't know why I haven't reviewed this earlier, seeing as it is one of my favorite Dasey fics *ever* and every now and then, when I browse the LWD section on and there are no new stories, I go back to this fic and re-read it. Because it just gives me the warm fuzzies every time. And I love it.

Needless to say, I was euphoric when I saw that you have returned to Dasey-fiction land after your long hiatus and decided to immediately bombard you with reviews. I'm sure you don't mind. ;)

Keep up the great work! I'm really looking forward to more stories and lots of Dasey goodness from you.
