Oh man, this was practically perfect! I think you've captured exactly the way Al would feel about his senses when he regained his body. I have some ear problems every now and then, where the earwax builds up so much I can't really hear very well anymore. But then when the wax gets cleaned out, every sound is beautiful. Judging from this experience I've had, I would say Al's reactions are accurate. I mean...just imagine what it must be like to go for five years without being able to touch, smell or taste, and your senses of sight and hearing are skewed. Then all of a sudden you regain your true senses - how staggering that must be! I wish the anime had ended with Al getting his real body back (complete with memories), because then he could react like you've made him react.

you made my cry...that was so awesome :') I love Al...I have a younger 10 year old brother who reminds me of Al everytime I look at him or talk to him and now he thinks im crazy for hugging him so much. That was one of the best storys i've ever read on this site.

WAH! IT'S % !NO! *sobs* My favorite part of this chapter was the last line: "Above all I missed the jubilant shout my brother issued when he burst into my room every morning, and pounced on my bed, proclaiming I was still there, and I’d never go away again." I just loved that._ This whole story was very creative, passionate, touching, and went in areas most people have never considered or thought of. A job well done,Samurai101!*salutes*

Aww, this was a cute set of drabbles. I could've sworn I actually heard Al speaking when I was reading through this...but then again, I'm weird like that...

But still, this was really sweet. I never really imagined that Al could've felt that way when his body was restored.

This review is for both 3 and 4.

The thing I love most about these stories is that you point out things that most people have never even thought of and go into full depth about them.Like with how Al needs to adjust himself and get used to his senses over a long period of time.(the toast and getting dizzy from strong smells)And with chapter 4 and how Al couldn't see well in the armor and didn't even know it was AMAZING!(did I spell that right?)NO ONE ELSE WOULD'VE COME UP WITH THAT!It also answered my musings about how Al can see and hear even though he doesn't have ears or real eyes.

ONLY ONE MORE LEFT!I'm both excited and sad about the last chapter,since I love this story so much.Will you be doing anything else like this afterwards?Like an epilodge(spelling is bad) or another story with the same theme with Al?

There are some things tho I want to point out:

1)RISEMBOOL!IT'S SPELLED R-I-S-E-M-B-O-O-L!NOT RESINBURG!(sorry,I get irritated by that)

2) "I hated the taste of blood, and I avoided it whenever I could." I understand this, but why would he need to try to avoid getting blood in his mouth?Unless he gets hurt(which he should be avoiding anyway) or something,he wouldn't need to worry about blood.
