Written wonderfully again, DDS. The ambience in this was simultaneously languid and tense. Throughout the piece, I felt that each character was trying to hide behind the facade of assurances that everything was quite fine, when of course it wasn't. And, for some reason, when you throw in wine it makes the atmosphere of the fic dark and more serious; a much needed touch.

This was great, I could really feel the atmosphere; the way you described it, I recognized that kind of after-party exhaustion, yet unable to sleep kinda feeling. Exactly how late were you writing this? You used the word 'elegant' three times in like, one paragraph and 'striking' twice in two sentences. :) But the story and speech were wonderful, as I have come to expect!

This fic is great. The atmosphere of the piece, the interaction between Bella and Sirius, everything is perfect.

Excellent, just excellent. So much atmosphere, such deep running tension. And I absolutely LOVE the last line.

Another great story (I'm running out of words, sorry). They are similar (both same family, both wild, both with the tendancy to do mad, crazy things) but at heart they are so fundimentally different.

I especially like the attention to detail you put in all of your characters movements and actions: ' the deep garnet of the wine splashes against the crystal, catching the firelight' that's just gorgeous, gorgeous imagery, and paints a beautiful picture.

Maybe I should just say that you are a brilliant and talented writer and I greatly enjoy reading the dramas that you have conjured for us readers to, well, read. Then I could use the time that I would normally spend to reveiw to read more of your fics. lol Playing the drama queen is fun. I really like this one too(surprise, surprise).

what a great oneshot. The Blacks intrigue me so much--their passionate hates and their passionate loves. Have you ever read thirty2flavor's oneshot Twice as Bright? It's about the Potters, but I definitely think it could apply to the Blacks as well, from the point of view of someone else.

Oh, very dark. Liked it a lot, it was nice seeing the darker side of Sirius.
