Beautifully written, especially where Sanada's character is concerned. Really brought him out, I think, and everyone else, too. Renji's words were profound. Everything was just...wonderful! And the fact that shonen-ai/yaoi was absent is a huge relief.

Yes! I finally found a well-written, non-yaoi fic. This is inspiring. Simple, but elegant. I like it. Good job. We need more fics like this. Although you could've made it a little longer. But all's well. Heh.

I'm reminded once again, why I love reading your works. :) For a debut into the PoT fandom, Im, this is a fine way to start. You've gotten a good grasp of the characters; the way Sanada and the rest of the team reacted to their loss is definitely in character. The little twists of humour made me smile and the last two lines just summarize Rikkai's entire spirit. Needless to say, I loved those two lines the best.

I don't just say this for fun but I mean it sincerely: well done and kudos to you for writing such a splendid gen fic (that is quite rare but very welcome within this fandom). :)
