I like it, although it is rather sad to read about little girls dying. Its fun to read some projections of what the show never revealed, and I like the way you do it. Although, if Kana killed herself (sortof), wouldn't she have blackened wings? Wasn't that the way the plot worked? I'm not sure, they liked to keep it deliberately vague, but I thought that was what they meant.

Even though it was sad, I liked it very much. I just got into Haibane Renmei, and this is my first HR fic too. I look forward to more chapters.

But one thing I don't understand is why is Kana portrayed as a lesbian? I've read another story with her as a lesbian too...is this another theory?
