It's Ironic that the worst combination of themes and devices would create the best bloody fanfic i've ever read

First off, Its horror / rommance - A good horror fic is hard to come by, And rommance is generally pretty 2D.

Second, its Based around an Anime. Whilst pokemon is alot tamer than the rest. lets be honest now, Anime community's dont tend to be the sharpest lot.

Third, it's a Vampire Fic. And easily the ONLY good vampfic i've ever read. probably one of the best on the site.

Also, it's a horror fic thats actually somewhat scary, alot of people seem to forget what HORROR means.

And lastly. it contains lots of the shows main characters, Most people would get bogged down with so many people to remember, and write about, forgeting some of them and leaving the reader confused as to: Who's doing what, and why

Anyway, i aint holding my breath for an update, but even if it just ended here, it's still a real stand-out story, and...well, thats it.

(Overall Review) I immensely enjoyed “Bleed Like Me.” The story of the feeders was very clever, and the concept continues with more twists in its sequel. Misty’s a full-fledged huntress, Ash is back (with feeder spawn, no less) as Misty’s enemy/prey/pawn/lover/etc (and poor Brock, May, and Max are stuck in the middle of it all).

First off, it’s good to see Brock, May, and Max got more active roles in this story, unlike the first installment. Such helped balance the spotlight a bit more. I will admit: it’s kinda’ sad how pessimistic the former friends are towards each other, now. But under the circumstances with the feeders (never mind the fact that Ash and Misty are no longer human), we certainly can’t expect Ash n’ co. to be hunky-dory. Oh, and May’s death didn’t bug me. I commend you for admitting your personal opinion of her, while also writing her death scene as tastefully (anti-bashing) as possible for this caliber of story. To put it simply: I like May, and yet her death scene didn’t offend me one bit (though I DID feel bad for poor Max having to see his sister killed like that).

Truthfully, I don’t consider this series OOC anymore, solely because the characters’ personalities have dramatically changed throughout this story. And, I might add, they’ve changed as adequately as they could in a gruesome situation like this, so characters are about as “in character” as they could possibly be.

So continues Ash and Misty’s intriguing love-hate relationship (probably more “hate” than “love” at this point). The truths about their past and current existences always clash, especially with Ash. Every so often, tidbits of their former humanities momentarily surface. It’s quite obvious the Ash and Misty we knew are long gone for legit reasons. Yet, this story kinda’ gives readers hope that not ALL of their humanities were lost, even if all that remains are scraps of humanity that’ll probably/eventually be discarded. I will admit, Ash and Misty’s “back-and-forth” dilemmas of whether or not they “love” (for lack of a better word) each other gets a little head-spinning, but it still makes excellent drama. (And one minor relationship note: Pikachu and Marril’s semi-relationship is quite cute. They’re obviously fond of each other, but mull over whether that fondness is love, instinct, or bloodlust. Either way, they’re cute together [in a sadistic little way]). ^_^

All in all, this is a fun, well-written horror series. I wouldn’t mind seeing this fic’s completion, but as it stands it’s still another great Pokemon horror story.

I still cannot believe that you killed of may so horribly. Oh well she would have died most likely anyways. It was just so sad.

I really liked this. And I'm fine with May being dead. I didn't like her anyways. Although I also liked the note in an earlier chapter that she wasn't as dumb as she sometimes seems. But really, I love your work. Is there more coming?

This story reminds me of Gears of War. Except with vampiric feeders instead of Locust. And it's a lot darker than GOW. Still all you have to do is add four men carrying Machine-guns with chainsaws on the end, and you got Gears of war.

Vampires,death, destruction,May dead and a friggin evil Pikachu what more could you ask for. The story is great both with the detail to the plot and to the action keep up the great work.

Call me names, but I loved that chapter (and not just because May died either).
Plus you're right, Pikachu is totally awesome, I love seeing stories when he's this evil little critter as oppose to the good guy. The weird, twisted romance between him and Marill makes it even better.
I kind of love that Misty comes across so much scarier and stronger than Ash (finally a story when she's not a distressed damsel) and I can't wait to see what's gonna happen next. So yeah, please update soon!

Hm so far i have enjoyed the story, i enjoy the lengthy chapters haha. Eh yeah i never really was much of a fan of Max and MAy was ok so the fact you killed them doesn't bother me much. Hm are the other two going to use their pokemon? Do they even have any of their pokemon with them or May's pokemon that she had when they fled Brock's apt. Eh anyway yeah can't wait for the next chappie.

And the Ash and Misty scene isn't bad, on the contrary… was so… dark… yeah, and hoty. A very good dark sex scene... Really receive my congratulations for the great chapie.
