A little short, but it's alright. I'm curious as to what would have happened had this story been continued. Normally I don't say stuff like this, but I noticed you mentioning hands. Is Cheza a wolf, a human, or a hybrid of wolf and human?

Note: I have never even heard of the story "Wolf's Rain" before.
