Comrade, you seem to have hit the middle mark. Your first story gave an inspiring depiction of the Desolator, your second a 'sappy' story of a Psychic Trooper (though Lenin be damned if the fight scene and the depiction of Crazy Ivan weren't inspiring), but in this story, you give a realistic, yet inspiring tale of a flak trooper. You truly have outdone yourself this time, comrade, and brought glory to the Union.

That was way cool, especially the description of the lightning storm. But you made one mistake: THe Flak trooper looked at the charred, burnt mark where what use to be there...His flak trooper. Anyway that was cool. Why don't you write the terror drone story in the third person?

Loved it. While I loved the Psych trooper one more, good humanization of that. I loved this vision of a grumpy conscript just trying to make it through the war. BTW Zip, crank, skitter, SKREECH.

I like this one a lot. I haven't managed to play the game yet, but after reading this little fic about the troopers involved, it has definitely given me an incentive.

Great continuation of your Chronicles. I never really saw the flak trooper as a happy guy. Plam trees? To tell the truth I didn't even notice it until you pointed it out. Tesla trooper huh? How about a sniper?
