I don't know how this has less than 10 reviews! You did an amazing job with a frankly eerie pairing but I especially enjoyed the Kabuto-Sasuke interaction. "You're just the one without the hair-tie."

Interesting take on Kabuto! It was interesting reading a fic with a point...exploring Kabuto's motives (not to mention you actually answered a few of the proffered questions).

The only thing I could think of critique wise was to have the POV switch between Kabuto and Sasuke, to help keep them both in character. I like your explanations of Kabuto's personality/actions, but it didn't really sit comfortably with me that he'd be so frank about them...so my suggestion would be to have Kabuto THINKing these thoughts, and saying only a few key things to Sasuke, leaving a window open for the student to draw a conclusion of Kabuto's behavior on his own.
