Digging up old SPN fic and saw this one lounging around in my bookmarks folder. I'm glad I finally picked it up:)

I wanted to say I liked the second scenario best, because I find the switched roles of Sam and Dean highly interesting. This time it's Dean who wants a way out, Dean who wants to stop hunting and go for a normal life. I think this has potential, especially when you start thinking about *why* he would want that in this universe (because he's not the alpha male making the decisions, maybe?).

But then I read scenario number 4 and was totally hooked. This reads like the start of a much longer fic, like a teaser, actually. There's so much in there that isn't explained - and things like that always make me curious!

This was awesome is so many ways. You really just took viewpoints on how different things could go and developed them into five stories. It was cool, and I am having a hard time trying to express myself in words, so I guess I am really impressed.

i loved that every single one of these was believable. the details really added to it and the dialogue was spot on for all the characters.

I got really caught up in these stories. You're a really good writer. You get the REAL Dean in there.

Every single one of these was amazing. I literally had to catch my breath between each one, the tension building because I knew the next one would be just as thrilling.

I would give a lot to see some of these fleshed out in a longer story, particularly I and IV. They both hit me HARD.

All of them were wonderful brain teasers and written spectacularly well. Thank you so much for sharing them!

M, I read this somewhere else and really liked it. All of them are really interesting, though I have to say the two that give me the biggest case of the shivers are the second and fourth... Sam & Mary as magic wielders and Dean left out of the loop, never had considered that before. And how it would make him feel? *shudder* Oh, and the 'evil Sammy' one, that was just creepy! Man, that gave me a chill down my spine, I have to say. Specially how you just leave it hanging, not revealing what happens to Dean. Was really curious at the end of that.

Anyway, glad I found this again, so I could let you know I really liked it. Thanks for posting.

Please excuse my french and I hope you don't get insulted but this but; That.Was.**.Amazing! Seriously, one of the best OneShots I've ever read, which is saying a lot because I've read so many I can't even estimate a number.

Your stories intitled me to seriously think and feel. I had to take a short break between each one just to gather myself enough to go on. The writing was absolutely brilliant and the five small worlds you created were fantastic. I really did love this piece of work and I think you have enough talent to be published.

Only just discovered you, but had to drop a line here to say how amazing this story was - in fact all five of them! The 'witchy' Mary was particularly disturbing, but I loved the idea of Missouri as Dean's 'Mom', and of his becoming a cop eventually in one life - I always thought that more likely than a fireman!

Marvelous - just marvelous. I loved every bit of this story - from the first bit to the end. You never missed a beat. I've always loved the "five things" approach and you did a great one. My favorite ones were the third to last (Dean working in the garage and Emily) and the first (foster care for both boys). But the others were just as cool. Every one of these snippets left me wanting a more complete tale - it was almost like they were all just starts to a story - which of course makes me want to finish them. But the beauty of this piece is that, for almost all of them (except maybe the Sam!Demon one) the reader can pretty much guess how it is going to all work out, just by knowing the original universe of Supernatural (I hope that sentence made sense, it's early in the morning where I am).

Anyways, it's a marvelous piece and it really encouraged me to finish my own "five things" piece that I've been stalled on for awhile. You really have a great story here!

This is without a doubt the coolest piece of fiction I have seen in a very long while. Each alternate universe for the Winchester boys was so convincing. I have to say the most frightening section was number II (with number IV as a quick runner up). John Winchester may have been a hard-**, but he clearly loved both of his sons and the man wouldn't have touched dark magic with a 10 foot pole. AU Mary clearly knows who she favors, and it's only because he's the most useful one (in her eyes) to her cause. Fantastic story.
