SUCH a good oneshot. And a brilliant idea, too, reworking old drabbles and adding more detail to see how much better you've become as a writer. 3 years have certainly made the difference...the detail in this was amazing-lots of careful description, feelings, etc etc.
Conversely, I've just looked back at my review for this collection of oneshots back in 2007 (so, two years or so) and my God! Did I write like that? No capital letters, no punctuation...?! Hilarious to compare, really.
Well done, and keep it up :)

Not a Tamora Pierce fan (so hard to get them in my country sigh) but this was bittersweet and beautiful ^_^

oh noo they are too sweet. dont you just love daine and numair?? why has tamora pierce created guys that i could so easily fall in love with and marry on the spot?? why are they merely confined to books?? thats what i want to know! love. numairs so..NICE. :) IF you were going to do more on this (dont know if you were) you could always do the banquet where he tells kaddar off...i think that would be interesting. just in case!

I lie this, but the way it is out of order was a little confusing. I like it how they were short and sweet, and you put all his feelings in a 'Numair like' way.
