Blue-Inked Frost 2006-05-02 ch 1,	abuseYou know I like this. :) Rick feels very IC, and the concept of it being Mark who reminds Rick of Fred and this praticular take on the name is original. Rick's so...bitter and interesting and twisted, and you've done a really good job of further developing his character through the reminiscing while remaining in character. The style of this is very sophisticated--apropos for Rick. The writing's excellent. And I love that little piece of denial from Rick at the end. You left an edit of mine in: "Okay, I prefer ‘never was’ :P".
