Interesting concept, but I'm just getting "Let's Give Shinji a Girlfriend" vibe from the first two chapters. Which is not a problem.

What is a problem, for me at least, is the fact that she's got what amount to superpowers that no-one else in Tokyo-3 has. The phrase "Mary Sue" comes to mind when I read about Kalia.

And that means this fic's not holding much appeal for me and I probably won't read futher chapters.

Okay, complaint about fanfiction net's problems over. I have'nt seen the second El-Hazard ova series but I'm familiar with with the critics opinions of Kalia and her resemblance to Rei and her disturbed personality. Although in some ways your version of Kalia seem to remind me of Hanako's from FLCL. Actually she's probably crazier. This story is definately interesting, and I'll be damned glad when fanfiction releases the hostage chapter.

Great chapter. I enjoyed how you had Asuka interact with Kalia, although I do think that Asuka made a mistake on that Angel attack when she tried to attack the dang thing without any arms or weapons.

Wow, that was a great update. I am definitly liking this fic and look forward to the coming updates. Though I haven't seen El Hazard, I want to now. I also like Shinji's attitude towards his father and hope he continues with it. Update soon.
