Well, I'm VERY late with the reviews again, but you did ask... it's nice to see that Zephyr still managed to exist in spite of her original stories getting made AU by the sequels. I like her a lot, personally. And this was cute, although I wish it were longer.
I hadn't thought of that explanation for the armband, but it doesn't seem so unlikely for Riku's character. Insightful.
Anyway, good fic. This would be longer were it not for the thoroughly ungodly hour at which I'm writing this and the fact that it's a ridiculously late review.

Anywho, I'm glad to see Zephyr here. XD Fluff and love aside, Zephyr's just... such a character (meaning that in the not commonly used way). It'd be a shame if you didn't use her more often. Ecspecially when she's just so amusing.

And Riku does need someone to slap him out of it when he does get too angsty. Granted, that part freaked Flamesi out a little and I'm not sure I can look at Riku innocently again... O_o but I never pictured Riku as someone who would cut...

I had to resort to Riku/Yuffie to fufill my Riku!romance quota so I could replace the lack of Riku/Zephyr-ness. Hmph.

It's oh-so wonderful to see some well written fiction in this section again. You have no idea how happy I am to see you writing again. It's getting more and more difficult to pick out the good stories from the not-so-good ones these days.

This was so good! I miss Zephyr, and seeing her again brightened my day. =]... or made it darker, but oh, well, it was really good. Keep going!

Anyhow, bravo meh dear for posting this. I'm really glad you did. Because the world needs more well-written fanfiction. And the world needs more stories from you, as well.

Zephyr, as always, is simply the best OC I've ever seen in this fandom or in any other. Her interactions with Riku are simply perfect as are her interactions with the other characters. Especially with Sora. I LOVE her interactions with Sora.

And I agree with you. Zephyr has grown and matured since the last time you wrote her. Even though her "age" may be the same as when your last Zephyr story ended (or perhaps even younger here) she is more mature.

But, I keep rambling on here and it's too early in the morning for me to be doing this coherently without caffeine (ignore the fact that it's 9:30). So, I'm going to cut this review a bit short (imagine how long it COULD'VE been) and get some caffeine.

And keep writing! Don't let another eight months or whatever happen in between posting again!

Hey, what can I say? I LOVED "Other Halves ::and other tales" AND "Paint The Sky With Stars". Zephyr is such a cool OC. Seriously. I love how this came out of no where.

Why didn't you TELL me you were going to post this? You write the best stories. Zephyr is one of the very rare OC love interests that doesn't make me want to take a shotgun to the author. (Because then who would I make jokes about Kh with?)

Ps: Your spacing format kind of got a bit wonky for a sentence or so right around the time that King Mickey and Riku are talking. It's all smushed together.

And finally, the fact that Riku likes Star Wars amuses me to no end.
