kittie reviewer 2008-07-13 . chapter 10That was cute, bravo |
kittie reviewer 2008-07-13 . chapter 8I say that a mile away, this whole story, I was telling myself that with all this stuff happening Scrooge was going to end up having a heart attack |
BlackLioness 2008-03-19 . chapter 10A really nice ending for a very good story. Great job! |
Xmchord 2008-03-17 . chapter 10 "By the time he realized it was family, he had precious little family left."
That really stuck in my head. I just wanted to let you know. |
The Illustrious Crackpot 2008-03-13 . chapter 10Personally, I think that this happy conclusion was very well-done, even coming from a self-proclaimed "angst bucket". (I'm going to have to find a context to use that phrase in...it's really funny...) The point that strengthens it the most is that it mostly IMPLIES "happy ending" by giving hope for such an event; we don't actually SEE Donald and Daisy get married, or SEE Della actually coming back to work at the Money Bin, but we know that it's going to happen, and somehow that makes it even more "feel-good" than if you'd written all those scenes out. Great work! |
 Luiz4200 2008-03-12 . chapter 10Yeah! They made up. |
 NigaleCross 2008-03-10 . chapter 10sequel? |
Nightw2 2008-03-09 . chapter 10Hey there. Thanks greatly for getting this epilogue up. I LOVED the wonderful work you did on all of the exchanges, emotional content and main resolution. Absolutely wonderful job. Definitely well worth the wait. |
LuvvyDuck 2008-03-09 . chapter 10Girl, this last chapter was BEAUTIFUL! Not the least bit cheesy... or if it was, I'd spread it on crackers anytime.
I enjoyed the loving attention you gave to Ludwig, and the way
you resolved things for everybody. I could almost feel Scrooge's
hug for Della at the end. This was very well-written, and a perfect ending to an excellent story!! *tosses you roses*
Now if I could just hurry up and finish "Ludwig and Matilda"... (sigh) |
 CrystalMask 2008-02-25 . chapter 9UPDATE! OR ELSE!
sincerely yours, CrystalMask
p.s you better update this great story soon!! or i shall do somethign evil!
p.p.s Donald better have a happy ending or i will do SOMETHING VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY EVIL! And i mean it!
p.p.p.s i wanted to ask, do you thinkt hat maybe in the next chapter you could have a momnet of don and the nephews? cause i've felt that don and the nephews really don't care about one an other and i love to see moments when donald and the nephews show how much don cares about the nephews and vice versa! If you could do that i'd be really happy!! |
Band8PGeek 2008-02-23 . chapter 9(counts) I've read most of your PPG fics. I've read most of your FOP fics. I've read both of your Muppets fic AND both of your PATB fics AND both of your SpongeBob fics.
But I've only read one fic about those awesome ducks.
Shoot me now.
Actually, wait - shoot me when I've finished layering on the praise I have for This Sincere effort. (You like the sly dig I did there?)
I started by reading Sepia Tone and that was awesome. It really gave me an insight into the craziness to come. Then I went on to this and it blew my mind. If I was in that position, I'd probably be on Huey's side as well - I mean, as if I don't have enough on my plate at the moment. :P
I love Scrooge's character here. He's got to juggle work, family, friends and Della all at once - I can almost see why he had that heart attack.
Ludwig is one of my fave Disney Ducks - his role is pulled off so well here. As is Donald's - even before reading, I was actually tenderizing a theory that Don-Don has Asperger's syndrome (something which I also unfortunately suffer from!!).
In short, this is one of your better efforts. Up there with the likes of Refugee and such. Faved.
(PS: darn you, you're turning me into a Webby/Dewey fangirl now. You really have to stop inflicting your pairings on me - I'll turn into a clone if you keep this up.) |
 Luiz4200 2008-01-24 . chapter 9Please bring Donald and Daisy together. |
The Illustrious Crackpot 2007-11-13 . chapter 9WOW! Extremely well-written (like all your works), amazing characterizations for the triplets, Della...heck, ALL the characters, and hooray for the inclusion of Ludwig Von Drake! I seriously freaked out at reading Scrooge's heart attack, and am still a bit uncertain of the Webby/Dewey implications—since the only current memories I have of Webby are from the DuckTales movie, this uncertainty is founded on the same "raised like siblings" issue she's worried about—but all in all, simply awesome. I'll be looking forward to more whenever you feel like writing it! |
MaverickBombthrottleneeSmith 2007-10-28 . chapter 9It's good to see everyone calm down a little after all the drama that happened last chapter. Hopefully in the next one, Della will finally to be able to talk to her family without tempers being raised. Anyway, I enjoyed this chapter despite the wait and adored Della's POV, especially since she's been branded a bad guy by her past and yet deep down her intentions are really good.
The way you personified Della, who has up to this point remained an enigma in the disney universe is undeniably one of the best pieces of characterization I have ever come across and I eagerly anticipate the final chapters to this magnificent fanfic.
Keep up the good work

NigaleCross 2007-10-28 . chapter 9I hope the mom goes away if she can't reform. Wow, I'm really mean. |
