Team 8 doesn't interact with Gai's team much, and it always is a push to find a reason for the Sand sibs to by in Konoha. I like Temari's flashback, especially how she's more scared of Kankurou than cute Gaara. Yashamaru really is a character that looks like a woman; I wasn't sure until I learned that -maru is an ending to a male name. So, basically, you're giving an explanation for Neji's changes over the timeskip. ...kay. ...Yes, Neji would never join the masked club. It pains him enough as it is to cover up even a portion of his beauteous face to hide his curse seal.
