I have only seen one book, name excapes me, by Pole Anderson (I think) where higher beings are playing chess using people as chessmen and planets as places on the board (the people voided the game by the kings meeting at an incorrect playing point). I am familiar with some anime, thanks to my kids. But they get very irritable when I look over thier shoulds while they are gaming, so the only character info I have is from fanfics. I look forward with interest to you development of Ranma and Nobiki (they are my favorites), where you send them and the game they are playing out. Thanks for "very good" read, and ...
