I have only seen one book, name excapes me, by Pole Anderson (I think) where higher beings are playing chess using people as chessmen and planets as places on the board (the people voided the game by the kings meeting at an incorrect playing point).

I am familiar with some anime, thanks to my kids. But they get very irritable when I look over thier shoulds while they are gaming, so the only character info I have is from fanfics.

I look forward with interest to you development of Ranma and Nobiki (they are my favorites), where you send them and the game they are playing out.

Like Hiryo said the fact that Nabiki gained almost all of Ramnas skills in so short a time is not very belivable, also it seams to me your rushing it a bit other than that its a pretty good idea

Only thing that disturbed me is that Nabiki learned nearly all
of Ranma's MA knowledge in that span of time whereby Ranma
needed over 16 years... else a very wonderful story I added to

It should be fun, but it will be in a chapter far in the future.
For now, I will wait for the next chapter.
Be careful, this kind of story need to be carefully planed, or it ends up as an incomprehensible knot!

Getting better, but need to work more on separating ideas. Two people shouldn't speak in the same paragraph. Also, if this is after the Nine-tails attacked Konoha, then it is the Third Hokage. The Fourth died sealing the fox in Naruto.

Other than that, a weird tale, but showing great promise. Looking forward to more.
