This was really sad, but good. I don't think Shika would drink like that and turn into his father who I think he hates deep down. I don't think Temari, Ino, or even Chouji went let him turn into a drunk either.

I really loved this. Very touching and realistic! You're right. Seems like it's a miracle when people in that world reach an age beyond their short childhood and I think more people should write about such themes! Poor Shika, but the story was way too good to scold you for having made him suffer!
