Liked the story, but I didn't really like how it ended. Too many time skips, and Samus and the Spartans shouldn't have died off at the very end of the story.
Good story anyway. Hope you make more Halo Metroid crossovers.

I am, first of all, impressed with what you have written here. Props to you. (although you misspelled "epilogue"...)

I'm guessing that having a lot in common with John helped Samus' attraction to him (taken from parents at young age, enhanced, etc), and maybe the fact that her emotions aren't as in check as she might like (what with everything that happened to her), and his understanding how she felt.

I have a Metroid/Halo crossover planned -- basically, the difference between Metroid and Halo is about 500 years, in this version -- post-Fusion, where Samus figures that John is 'the one' thanks to her Metroid instincts...should be interesting once I write it.

And I can't get that 'part Elite' idea out of my head. I'll have to do something with it, or it will never leave me alone.

Hm, being part Elite wouldn't be bad. Being part Grunt would be awful, though, especially if you had to breathe methane like one!

wow, i didnt expect you to buff samus even more with spartan strength. maybe it will give her that much needed endurance so she can fight a bit longer. hm i still wonder what the heck is inside the station waiting for the mto try escaping( sorry its from every metroid game, there must always be something waiting to ** your day lol) great as always, less mistakes than normal only some sentences were abit choppy so check em later when you can. see ya next chapter

Whatever it is, it must hurt a lot, or maybe the knowledge that it comes at the cost of a Spartan hurts a lot.

I very much like your characterization of Samus, and your interpretation of her abilities -- does the Chozo injection let her sense emotions, and so forth, letting her "read" MC's mind?

I am also interested in what will happen now that John's got less control over his emotions...heh heh. MCxS for the win.

One minor nitpick: a nitrogen oxide atmosphere would mean that the atmosphere was made of NO, a very toxic gas.

wow, chief is starting to act like samus when she was corrupted. i understand why use the stronger version to corrupt him seeing as he has more discipline than her but still what is the deal with the barb, it doesnt do that much dmg. i jsut know u have a plan for it so il let you to it. check for mistakes as always and great chapter, wish the arbiter would come, he is fun. till next week
