| modernxxmyth 2007-07-15 ch 1, | abuseBeautiful. Absolutely wonderful characterization. Everyone always forgets her darker side. |
| SpySkater 2006-06-26 ch 1, | abuseSorry. Triniroo is my cousins profile. But still I love it. |

| icaughtfire 2006-05-27 ch 1, | abuseI love it. It's so tragic. Also nice to see a story in second person...don't see that very often. |
| StorytellerD 2006-04-26 ch 1, | abuseNicely done. I liked that you told it from Paige's perspective. |
| phyca 2006-04-26 ch 1, | abuseBeautiful, dear. Simply beautiful. |
| Shasty McNasty 2006-04-26 ch 1, | abuseIsn't it nice when people show how smart they are because they can read a Wiki? That's almost word for word a page that I cited for one of my Psych papers not too long ago. If you look at Paige's past she is the epitome of hubris. She had too much confidence and pride for something. She hasn't been much a nice character until recent episodes. She's not the victim. She IS the hubris. Her attitude did lack humility in the past. She had no shame for the pain she inflicted on others most of the time. I think this story was meant to take that into account because this is her suffering now. Her past catches up with her while her pride still won't allow her to be completely humble. |
| qcd rockets fall 2006-04-26 ch 1, | abusewho starts a fic with a Shakespeare quote? (besides me, i mean) points to you for that. don't get me wrong, i did enjoy it. different perspective was nice. however, i had to cringe over the title. it's a little bit over the line of being out of context. hubris is arrogance, sure, but there's more to it than just that. it's a grecian word, and in their context, hubris refers to overwhelming pride that comes with boasting or quarreling with another. hubris is inflicted onto a victim, emphasis on that last word. i suppose you could argue that paige is the victim, but i didn't read it like that because she didn't seem to suffer as she should have. in modern terms, hubris usually is ignorance combined with a lack of humility. the word is foreboding, meaning bad things will follow. like the typical james bond villain, they're pretty much personified hubris, in a nutshell. i hate to lecture, i really do. but the english-demon inside of me came out and i couldn't stop. |
| RnBwRvrGrl 2006-04-26 ch 1, | abuseI think it was interesting telling the story from Paige's POV in second person. It was like she was placing the readers in a hypothetical situation by saying "you". Lovededed it. |
