It's been a while since I got caught up with some well-written fics. I have to say, I liked this story. Normally, people would always focus on writing about the main characters in the series wherein they have the spotlight all the time but reading a story about one of the series' "neglected" characters, for the lack of a better word, is really worthwhile. You nailed it! I loved the choice of words you used. It just made the emotions come to life and the way you protrayed Izumi's character. It was good. I like it. :)

This was incredibly, surprisingly touching. I teared up. :o Oh my, you are a good writer, even back in 2006. Poor Izumi. You are very insightful. It's nice having Ed and Al's teacher written so very humanly.

I love it. Izumi's awesome. And you kept her completely in character. It was sad but hopeful at the same time. The ending was absolutely beautiful. "And from the ashes, the phoenix would rise again." Amazing. *favs*

Wow! This is beautiful. No, I mean it. :D I never really thought about the Elric brothers' relationship with Izumi that way... at least, not in that depth. "And it was hard for her to hear the quiet, underlying 'mother' even when they were all but shouting 'sensei.'" - this part hit a sweet spot. I think I almost cried.

Well, I liked that. A lot. I haven't read many Izumi fics, so this was a nice change.

Ooh...AP tests are killer. I'm taking the Language and Composition test on Monday-I took the AP US History class, but I'm not taking the test...I'm terrible at history.

But yeah, we've been taking a bizillion practice test for L&C...I keep snagging 3's, and got a 4 once. The multiple choice questions are just uber hard...but I've been doing better...so, I'm totally hoping for a three. Too bad it's on a Monday...at 7:30 in the morning, right at the start of school. Bleh...
