Shoomy2003 2007-03-02 . chapter 1I squick at the idea of a romantic relationship between Sesshoumaru and Rin, so YAY for non-romance! Even though Rin wanted it, I just could not see Sesshoumaru allowing it to happen. This, so far, is the best representation of Future Rin and Sesshoumaru that I've ever seen. I could see her pride leading her away from him, only to find herself back to the very spot she longed to be. I can also see Sesshoumaru being indifferent and cold such as he is in the story. He wants her around, but he is unwilling to allow it to be romantic or beyond that of a friendly acquaintance. Very convincing, and very good! |
Dragoon-Yue 2007-01-15 . chapter 1Have you ever considered doing another one like this, but from Sesshomaru's point of view? |
shaid 2006-08-27 . chapter 1that was really quite good. BTW, have you read the latest translation from the Manga? ::grins:: Sesshomaru as much as admits that he cares for little Rin! glee! Stating, in so many words, that strengthening his sword is not worth Rin's life. Which I totally melted over. Badassed Demons having a soft spot for sweet little kids is just... well it makes them my kind of demon. |
Cyndi 2006-04-30 . chapter 1Oh that was so perfectly in character that it made me want to cry. |
LadyRhiyana 2006-04-27 . chapter 1A fascinating story. Capable Rin builds her own life, free of his influence, but then finds out that it's not what she truly wanted. As you said, the parallel to Kagura is striking. Sesshoumaru did nothing to prevent her, because it was what she wanted...
He has only two lines in this, but his personality comes through so strongly he doesn't need to speak. "Iku zo" is enough. |
Lady Izayoi 2006-04-26 . chapter 1That was so beautiful and touching. Very well done. |
 Zero-A.C. 2006-04-26 . chapter 1A really beautiful story...
I like it how you keep them both in character and how calm the entire story is. Although you don't know how this little arguement started, it does not seem to be important to know (at least for me).
Somehow it was sad, but then again...it was somehow sweet as well. I really liked it!
