Thank you. The folding made perfect sense to me and it was a very Remy thing to do. I can definitely see how it would help calm him. I'm sure at this point any small, simple task he can accomplish feels like a huge victory to his wounded soul. Any failure at this point would probably destroy him. I was so happy to read him smile. Thank goodness he can still find simple pleasures, there would be no hope without them.The fact that he wouldn't take off the coat showed exactly just how badly he's still hurting. It was such a child-like thing to do and really very sad in a way. Rogue's reaction when he slipped it on was both priceless and perfect. Again, that's the Rogue I wish still existed in the comics but I'm afraid she's gone forever.

Ooh, very cor. Mother-daughter battles, to be expected where Mystique is involved. Of course Rogue would leave for Gambit! Stupid Gus, who the heck would want that snivelling twerp? Good on Remy for killin' him, I say, as harsh as that may sound.

OMG i have never read a fic like this ... and i love it! what are you going on about this chapter doesn't flow i thought it did.

I like the way you are doing both of there perspectives and how remy seems to slowly but surely understanding that he will never be the same person yet he can at the same time. things changes people but not everything has to change.

i cant wait to hear what cocky remark he is gonna come out with when he says something to rogue after so long of not talking, i mean it has to be something cocky its remy!

ah, another break through for Remy. So far he is advancing nicely. I wonder his next step will be. Maybe more facial expressions. Thats if there isn't any setbacks.
