It's great to keep reading this story even if additions take time to be posted. It's almost easy to forget Buffy's early years when she was still young, impressionable and easily hurt. But this story in her own words brings it back.

There's obviously a bit of editing here and there as she's reciting this story for other ears but the emotion comes through nonetheless. It makes you wonder what was written in her diaries before she lost them in the crater.

That quote : "It doesn’t have to be a fairy tale, it doesn’t even truly have to make sense" And all the stuff right before it. Is so true! i agree absoulutly. Keep going with it. i cant wait to see season 3. Good job so far!!

I like this and ur doing good w the 1st person so far. actually, i think this is the easiets way to write bc all u worry about is how 'u' the 1st person see things around u.

This is a wonderful encapsulation of Buffy's trials before and after knowing about slaying. However, the last line struck me as being a little jarring. Buffy's old friends weren't fake; they just didn't know how to deal with the world she lived in. So they went into denial which is what a lot of people living in Sunnydale did...at least before most of them wised up and hightailed it out of town. :(

I like it so far! intresting idea!

I still think the idea of giving a whole bunch of hormonally driven teenagers the ability to bench press cars was a stupid idea. (Darn you, Jerk Whedon!) But I'm also curious about what Buffy will tell a whole bunch of girls about her life, including the egregious blunders she made along the way.
