Oh, I love the way you've built Ed and Roy's relationship. The attraction was quick to surface and yet not hurried. I also feel you did well with maturing Ed without forcing him to be out of character. I feel very few people manage to do that.

And Anya is so cute

Oh, I do so hope you're still planning on continuing this. It's wonderful- like the post-movie fic I've been searching for. You just write them so well, and I feel like we've only been shown the very beginning of Ed and Roy's relationship. It would definitely be sad if this was where it stopped (not that that last scene wasn't absolutely magnificent- because it was, but oh, the attraction is only just starting and it's cruel to leave us hanging there!)

Lovely story and I love the slow build up to the relationship between Ed and Roy.

I admit that I was so guilty about not reviewing the previous chapters that I considered quietly slinking away, putting this on my alerts and favs and just ending it with that.

I was so hooked that I was too busy getting to the next chapter to review... who can blame me for that?

Nice. An interesting take on the old 'Ed comes back from the Gate' story. I'm liking the slow pace of their relationship, how you have Ed still greiving and not jumping into a new relationship. You have interesting OCs that don't overrun the story. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

SUPERB story! I can't believe i missed this one for so long!

Have just sat down and read all 6 chapters in one go and I love just how much of the characters you've managed to pack into this! It seems to me that the plot is unfolding very naturally, although at an aggravatingly slow pace as I am desperate to know exactly who this mysterious woman is, what happened on the other side to get Ed home, and how our darling bastard general is going to win the heart of the oldest elric?
- it seems to me he's already firmly got the youngest in his grasp if Anya's enthusiasm for him are any indication!

In any case, looking forward with bated breath to the next installment; and in case you haven't gotten any other offers or simply need an extra person to read over drafts, I'd be very happy to any beta'ing sent my way. Interesting changes to the story. I hope Roy plucks up the courage and tells Ed that he loves him soon. I think it would be good for both of them and Anya as well. They'd make a cute family. I could see Roy moving in to Ed's place. Can't wait for more. This is a great story.
