This story is great! I've always liked Crutchy, so I was sad when you killed him off (and a little surprised you claimed his was a "very minor" character death- I was expecting someone to lose a pet) but I like how you dealt with people's grief. I also like how you've rounded out several of the characters- Sean, Tony, and Del especially. I've also appreciated that you've let Sarah be a grown up. And the Jack and David subplot is bubbling along nicely now- can't wait to see what Jack's past is like. I was wondering whether he was as "gifted" as Sean in terms of computers- having him apparently steal his tuition (or just record it as paid, or whatever he did) was interesting- are he and Sean going to have to team up at some point, or face off? Also I'm appropriately confused about Blink, Mush, and Del- are you really heading for a threesome? Because I didn't realize that this fandom was quite willing to go there, I haven't seen it in other fics. Though I've spent enough time in HP and Dr. Who fandoms to see it coming, apparently? Anyways, please update, I'm addicted!

Ah! Glorious update, this one, and a very marvelous chapter. I love Jack and David's interaction, and then, of course, the much anticipated kiss! Your SpRace smut was delightful, as was the Jason Bourne reference. That rocked. So over all, very wonderful chapter, and you've got me waiting in suspense regarding what will come next. =)

Loved the Race and Spot scene. A great mix of heat and tenderness.
Yay for the long awaited Jack and David moment at the end.

I actually gave a "woohoo!" when I saw that this updated. I'm so in love with the way you weave in the bits of newsies-plot with your story. It works so well.

Also, I think I heard the Hallelujah chorus at the end. Three cheers for Javidy goodness!

All in all, this fic is still awesome, and I'm so pleased you updated it.
