| Math Girl 2006-05-07 ch 1, | abuseI'm reviewing this whilst my husband stands beside me discussing Masonic flag-day stuff... forgive me if I sound a little garbled. Anyhow, on second read-through, it remains a wonderful story; well-written and nicely paced. The personalities are definitely in 'cannon character', with your own welcome twists. =) Once again, good job! C. |
| Claudette 2006-05-03 ch 1, | abuseHm, interesting story. But surely - if Jeff thought there was ANY possibility of anything still being up there he wouldn't allow his sons and Brains and Tin-Tin go up there in ignorance? More likely he would have had the place thoroughly checked when he took on the island - which you did mention and then, for certainty's sake, checked it himself. Finally, I don't think he'd be hiding in his room - he'd be behind his desk waiting for any call for help that might come from the picnic party. I guess he doesn't really think there is anything there but still has the residual terror and can't face going back or telling his sons about it. Pity. |
| Mapu 2006-04-30 ch 1, | abuseAfter that long on the island it's little wonder Jeff bought the place - it would be a real home to him. Brains may be for more than he thinks if he does end up finding his interesting alloy! This was an excellent glimpse into little seen Tracy history, and it just begs for more! |
| Spense 2006-04-30 ch 1, | abuseGreat story. I like the unexplained nature of whatever-it-was that landed in the crater. I'm also interested that after ten weeks on the island, Jeff obviously eventually bought it. Interesting tie-in there. Nicely done. |
