That was very emotionally charged. I was very tense through most of this and felt so much for Jack. I'm glad he didn't attempt to cut it out, because I kept thinking about all of the reasons why it wouldn't work. Good job.

I never really thought about a fic dealing with his apendix rupturing (although I knew that's what you were getting at). Okay well actually I once wondered when watching Nemesis what had happened that had brought it to their attention.

Wow, I cried throughout the entire fic. The raw emotion from Jack was gut-wretching. Was th inspiration for the title Evanescense's "My Last Breath" by any chance? I've been thinking about doing a fan vid for Meridian to it, probably slash or implied slash. The lyrics just seen to fit for Jack watching his best friend die.

O_O Wow! I love it! Poor Jack and Daniel! You hit their personaliites spot on though, and did a lovely job with Sam, her father, and Teal'c. I coundn't be more impressed.

Favourite line: "Teal’c had never seen his warrior brother so…stricken. Nor his heart brother so… lifeless". His appendix? I was thinking that was the only thing it couldn't be because the show had already done it, but I love this version. Poor Daniel and probably even more poor Jack. Wonderful story. This was so much fun. Gorgeous prose too. I'm glad you didn't give us a sad ending. More please, of this or any other story.

*sigh* This fic is just the awesomest...It actually reads better in chapters than in the big long thing we got on the AO group, but, that doesn't affect the overall feel of the story...and, plus, don't have to wait to see what happens...hehehehe...But, HAD to give you the props you deserve...cause, i STILL think this fic is like AMAZING...
