Wow, this definitely has potential. I don't think I've ever seen anything focusing on anyone other than the characters from the books-y'know, Kess, Bo, Mumpo, Red, the Zars. (Actually, that's all the characters I remember seeing Wind Singer fics about. I sat down one night and read all 14.) Great job, keep it going!
