I'm a bit confused by chapters 15 and 16, though -- Nick shows up, confesses his love, and shows up again? Did he leave while Cheryl was sleeping? did she dream his first arrival? If you ever do a rewrite or editing, you might consider clarifying the event sequence in that portion of the story. (One small nitpick for you or your beta, if you have one: you sometimes use "Her and Nick..." as the subjects of a sentence, instead of "She and Nick..." It's ok to use improper grammar in dialogue if you're using it to characterize someone; otherwise, it can be distracting to readers.) Thanks! Keep up the good work.

Love the fact that Catherine was Horatio's inside man. That never even crossed my mind as a possiblity. I guess that Cheryl is right...nobody is safe from that man. Glad to see that Nick and Cheryl have FINALLY worked things out (for real) this time. And am looking forward to seeing Cheryl's extended (Miami) Family checking Nick out. Although the whole Nick meeting Tim thing makes me a little weary, but I think that is a different story line all together. I really want to see H meeting Nick as the boyfriend instead of the friend/roommate.

That was so mean...I have been waiting forever for those two to get together and just when I thought that you finally let it happen you go and pull something like that. Nice twist, but really mean. Hopefully it will not take another 16 chapters to actually get them together. Can not wait to see them in Miami, and hopefully as a happy couple so that way good old Uncle H can give him the third degree. Desperately waiting for the next update...need to see them finally admit their feelings to each other once and for all.

Hah I liked when Cheryl semi-told off Sara there, I loved Catherine and Warrick kissing, and Nick and Cheryl kissing, yayaya! Hah poor Greg and his minimal pickup lines. Well, I enjoyed it and can't wait for more- although you update so quickly that I won't have to! hah:)!

I have been waiting for these two to get out of Denial Land for fifteen fourteen chapters now, and you have finally made me happy. Horatio was hilarious. I wouldn't be surprised if he did have a tracking device on Cheryl, or his own informant inside the lab keeping tracks on Cheryl (though with everything going on in Miami I do not think that H would do that). Although it leaves me wondering how he found out so quickly that she got into trouble, I mean Grissom lives there in Vegas with her and he only suspects that something happened. Now that they have decided that Nick is going to let her steal his covers, is Cheryl going to take him back to Miami with her for Christmas? I mean Nick has already met H, but now he can meet the whole Miami crew.
