 skrewtkeeper 2008-08-07 . chapter 1I've probably read this three entire times, but I honestly cry everytime I read it, and I am not a crier. That was just so beautiful, and so sad. The saddest aspect of this was Dumbledore leaving her that locket with the pensieve inside it... It was just so beautiful, and so sad to think that he left her that to ease her pain, or hope that it would help ease her pain... Goodness, you are very talented with the whole 'melancholy' mood that was needed here. I never considered that Minerva would sink so low to almost commit suicide, but as she herself pondered, and gave the reasons of Harry being safe, and her having no more things to do, I don't see why she could not commit such a terrible thing as an escape from her pain... oh gosh, this is a favorite for sure, despite its sadness...
