I love Hana Yori Dango! I was embarrassingly excited when I found this story because it combines two of my favourite works.

The way you adapted the Harry Potter universe to fit with the HYD plot lines is very elegant. Draco as Tsukasa and Ginny as Makino fits incredibly well (I can't believe I never thought of it before...). I really like how you managed to fit Hermione and Tonks into the story too. I do have some trouble imagining Crabbe and Goyle as players though. >.< It doesn't really correspond with my mental image of them, but it is a logical role for them to fill.

Some of the details changed have only enhanced the story. I think the reasons behind Claire's plot are more valid and realistic than in HYD. For me the equivalent character's motivations in the drama always rang hollow, but in your story I can definitely see that kind of revenge plot as being plausible.

I would love for this story to be continued. You certainly have done a fantastic job so far. Thanks for writing and posting!

I have to say that I realy like this story. It's well written and you have realy thought it through. Even though it's based on... that thing I can't remember what it was, it still was your story, you made it yours and that is quite amirable.
But I'll have to admit I got throughly ** off at Claire when I read the incident in the DADA classroom. Of course Malfoy did something extremly wrong and selfish, but with what Claire did she became just as selfish as Malfoy. She wanted Malfoy to break down as her brother had, to make him feel what David had, but when she did that she did to Ginny the exact same thing that Malfoy had done to her. Acording to her logic about revenge Ginny could actually go after Claire like she had gone after Malfoy. I was so mad at her, she simply didn't understand that everything we do affect the things and people around us, and a thing like what she did has a lot of effect.
Now that I think about it it's kind of horrible that I got so mad at Claire but not at Malfoy. If you you compare what the two of them did Malfoy is the one who did the worst thing. He cursed a boy because he kissed his girlfriend, but Claire cursed (I know it wasn't her who actually cursed him, but she is the one who was in charge so I focus on her) Malfoy because he had tortured and made her go mad. I guess it's because I read about the torturing of Malfoy in detail, as if I was there, but what Malfoy did I only herd as a story told by a person to another person. If I had gotten a description as detailed as the one actually happening in the story about David I surely had gotten at least as furious with Malfoy as I got with Claire.
Another thing I realized as I read the latest part is that Angelique must be Draco's ex who David kissed. There isn't an other explanationto it. Malfoy hate her, but he remembered how he had loved her hair and she had her head in his lap. They must have been together and he must have genually liked her, and the only serious relationship was the one that... ended so badly.

When I first started reading this, I had no idea that it had been almost a year since your last update. It was silly of me not to check, since I usually make sure the story is still going before I dive in, but by the time I'd realized my mistake I was already so absorbed in the story that I couldn't have stopped reading if I'd wanted to.

Your writing it by far one of the most elegant and graceful styles I've ever read, and I don't just limit that to fanfiction authors. I'm completely blown away by your dedication to even the smallest details and envy your ability to create such a unique blend of worlds that combined are totally believable.

I'm very satisfied with your characterizations in this story. Draco and Ginny especially are played exactly to their disagreeable and snarky selves, and I love that about them. I absolutely hate it when authors write how at first kiss/glance they suddenly fall in love and are attached at the hip singing about their love for each other. Reading a Draco/Ginny fic like that is almost as bad as reading a Harry/Ginny with all that gushy, "I love you" stuff. What makes Draco/Ginny an exciting pairing is that they don't fall all over themselves for each other and I think you've captured that perfectly. The witty banter and need to challenge each other just makes that passion Draco mentioned all the more exciting. He's right too, of course; no matter what happens with Blaise or anyone else, there's never going to be that amazing spark except with him, despite his sometimes completely unromantic tenancies.

Blaise, while often portrayed as a fun-loving prankster, took on a quieter role in your story and I've taken a liking to this man of gentle nature. The pairing between him and Cho wasn't one I'd read before, but I found I didn't much mind the idea, though ultimately I still would like to see him with someone more like Luna. I was a bit saddened to find that she wouldn't appear in this story, but I like the best friends with Hermoine situation you've created instead. It's a lot more believable without the rest of the Trio looming over all their girl talk.

Crabbe and Goyle were also not what I expected, though not the least in a bad way. The scene you described with Ginny and the goofy pair on the dance floor was great, and I could really picture that happening. They seem like two more big brothers that she clearly doesn't have enough of and it sort of makes me laugh a little when I read about their foolish escapades as "players."

The constant battles between Ginny and Pansy (all of which started over footwear, ha!) are wonderful, and I won't forget that little confrontation Ginny had with her at All Hollows', though I would love to see the twit really go out with a bang, making a complete fool of herself in front of society. I feel like she deserves it after everything she's done to Ginny.

I love how you've managed to incorporate Tonks and Hermione into the story and still keep their unique tendencies from cannon. The bookworm is still herself and falling for Ron, and Tonks is wrapped up in all this drama over Lupin (?). Its very believable since even in cannon Hermione deals with heritage troubles and keeping her parents safe as well as Tonks' romance issues from the Half-Blood Prince. It fits wonderfully into the story. I also like how Sirius didn't die, though I wonder why Harry is still alive if Voldemort is in power. Are his parents still alive too, then? Oh, well. It doesn't bother me over much, regardless.

I'm very anxious to find out what happens with Narcissa, and what this recent development between Ginny and Blaise will lead to. As much as I want her to be with Draco, some part of me still wants to see the two of them kiss. Just to get it over with, you know?

Anyways, I'm sure you've heard this 615 other times in reviews, but I really would like to see this story updated. It's fabulous and well worth continuing if you were to ask me. However, I understand the lack of inspiration and troubles with real life as much as the next writer, and I'd therefore completely understand any reason you might have for putting it on the back shelf. Irregardless, I'm adding it to my favorites. That's not something I do a lot, so you should know its of the highest honor. Only five other stories have made the cut.

I am going to add this to my favourites , so I decided to write a quick review (I still haven't finished, I still haven't even finished this chapter, and i have to take off but as I am adding to my favourites I must review - I hate favouriting and not reviewing):

So in short:
THIS IS AMAZING!
At fisrt I was uncertain - this is so AU - It's hard to imagine Hermione not going to School
(I can imagine it in the future yelling at her children for not liking to go to school, this if the war ever ends )
But then, I feel in love with this UNIVERSE! I (L) it!
I love the world you created, and how the world would have been without a Harry Potter, how Hogwarts would be, I love how Hermione is portrayed living in a world were she is discriminated by who she is just to learn more and grab the knowledge of what she can do with her magical abilities.
Rosmerta, Blaise, Crabe, Goyle - your characters are marvesousley interperted and real. And Cho (she's a pain in the a** in the books in my view, but I love the way she is portrayed here), I love the way you hint Ron's and Hermione's relashionship.

Ginny irritated me at first , soo submisive, and alway's felling like crying, but that is what makes her character real and not so Mary-Sue'ish, If I were in those situations I would probably feel like crying to. And Draco - GOD- I hated him in the first chapters, and wondered how this would turn into a Draco x Ginny fic with all the hatred, but you did a pretty good job. I bet Claire's after Malfoy, I wonder well I still haven't finished this chapter, and the rest so I won't make assumptions.

I also LOVED Tonks (she'S awesome!), I hope in the chapters folowing you talk about how she got married, and I also hope she dumps him- it sound like a awfull aranged mariage - she should be with Charlie :D (or ... Remus :\) .

All in all I love this universe.

Anyway. I perfeclty love this. You're a excelent writter. And when I finish this I am going to check out your other stories.

And I am favouriting this because it's A-W-E-S-O-M-E !
