This is the second time I have read this. The first time I recall being awed at your skills in writing, additionally being a little saddened by the story's resolution, for Byakuya is my favorite character in Inuyasha, hence it is natural that seeing him die, even in a fanfiction, I would be saddened a little, especially after you give him so much depth. Now that I read it after finishing the entire series... I don't know, I suppose it gives me slight solace in his death. Thank you.

I cried. Seriously. It's such a simple, yet deep study of Kagura...through Byakuya. This is the first time I have ever cried reading a fanfic.

For some reason, the second to last line made me laugh. The entire fic, was, however, wonderful. I loved it. Uber-much. :)

This is a gorgeous fic. The prose is vivid and elegant, the characters have an air of authenticity that makes it impossible not to empathize with them, and the way you've written Byakuya in particular - it really is unearthly. His search for information and his interpretations of the little movements in the wind were touching, a solid foundation for his subtle, almost introspective affection for the 'sister' he never met.

Reading through this is like being a little kid and believing in fairy tales all over again. It has that very same sense of danger and beauty.

Wow. That was so intoxicating. Truly a good written piece of art.
