I love this story so far, the interaction with Sam and Dean after Sam realizes Dean is lusting after him was hilarious, I love how Sam tells him to stop talking about his body LOL anyhow, I also wanted to say, I like the plot to it, the whole cursed jewelry thing. I am kind of plotless at my wincest writing, so I appreciate a really good plot. they should use this plot on the show (without the wincest obviously) LOL

i read this story back in 2006 when you first published it, it was the first wincest story i ever read and i read it immediately following season 1. it is the damn best ever sam and dean story i have ever come across, and this is coming from someone who has literally read them all. you writing is incredible, your ability to capture the brothers in character, to weave in humour, fear and love astounds me. ive read this story and its two sequels (along with the old ghost verse) a minimum of once a year since 2006, i didnt realise you had a ffnet account (i came across this on your live journal years back), so thats why im reviewing this now, because i searched :D thankyou for an amazing story, i always felt as if this truly happened in the series because it was so well written and in character, well done! your talent is incredible! and yay to the fact that your Australian! there aren't many ffnet authors from Australia! peace and hope you're well. :)

Fantastic story! I love the mix of humor, suspense, romance, and mild nerd-butt-kicking action.

And honestly, Dean feeling attracted to his brother while in his state of amnesia makes a lot of sense. Even if he's told that Sam is his brother, he's not going to feel any brotherly emotional attachment to him, and thus his brain will deny the possibility that this "non brother" can be a brother. There's neurologist studies that delve into what happens when people hit their head and lose emotional connectivity to objects and people. They believe that their mother, per se, must actually be a very good lookalike. It's simply because, even thought that woman looks exactly like their mother, they cannot recall any emotional attachment to her. I great deal of how we define people is our gut emotion reaction to them, only we don't really think about it until a case like this comes along to prove the importance of emotional tags in identifying people. Ah, but sorry for the super long spiel...neurology is fascinating, I read a great "layman terms" book on some curious neurology cases. The book's title was "A Brief Tour of Human Consciousness" by V. S. Ramachandran if you're ever interested for more fodder like what you've done with this story.

Thank you for this. I'm still on the fence on the wincest issue, but this story is one of the best written SPN fics I've found so far, but the only wincest fic that I wanted to read to the very end. You kept them in character and wrote them very well. Thanks for sharing.

Loved it! I think it would have been more realistic if Sam hadn't felt reciprocated feelings for his brother... I mean, he might have enjoyed the making out but not gone so far as to actually want incest and 'realize his own desires'... because I think he would have gotten more hints of his feelings earlier, such as feeling something for guys before or feeling strangely uncomfortable - not just like how any brother would react - when Dean gets close to him. Then it would have been interesting to see what Sam thought about his 'sacrifice' later - if he didn't like his brother in that way entirely - and if he's willing to keep doing it. I must admit that that would be more interesting for me, to see what the boys would do in that situation... but hey, I LOVED this story too as it was! DDD

I read the translation in french, but i wished to tell you how i liked the story.

Sam who want to do something for Dean, and finally Dean (when he recovered his memory) who blame Sam for loving him, and for what he has done. I found it heart-breaking for Sam.

But the end was great! When Sam makes his innuendo and Dean who says "stop". It's create a hope!
