magialuna 2008-11-25 . chapter 1This story is SO cute. I could see the two of them the entire time... pesky but well intentioned Didymus and gruff Hoggle. A great story. -Clare |
Eclectic Me 2008-10-04 . chapter 1Oh, this was great; not inconsiquential in the slightest! I actually love to read pieces that people write for challenges because:
A. they're usually one-shots, and so they're sure to be completed.
B. The people who take challenges are the people who are sure they can meet them, so the pieces are almost always of the best quality.
Again, I really enjoyed this, and I will definately be checking out this LJ community! |
Smart Alex 2008-05-27 . chapter 1oh my goodness, that was fantastic. I've been looking for good labyrinth fic, and this was tremendously exciting to read. it's very believable, and your characterizations were dead on. definitely going on my favs! |
Typhlogirl 2008-02-18 . chapter 1That was brilliant! =D It's so wonderful to finally read a piece featuring some of the more minor characters from Labyrinth. I mean, I love Jareth and Sarah and Jareth/Sarah, but this piece really made my day. I love Didymus and Hoggle, and they were so in character it scares me! XD Well done! |
Natsuko37 2008-01-15 . chapter 1The year of the thing we thought was a raisin... was that before or after the year of the potato? I'm a little rusty on goblin history. XD I found this immensely cute and enjoyable. |
yodeladyhoo 2007-09-25 . chapter 1The indigenous Americans have a saying, " Too many chiefs; not enough Indians "
The culinarily inclined French have a saying " Too many chefs spoil the soup " ( paraphrased from the actual translation )
Thank you for sharing. |
 Skyrere 2007-05-03 . chapter 1ROFL |
Shelli 2006-12-18 . chapter 1 I don't normally review older fanfics, but someone who quotes both Kipling and Pratchett is more than deserving.
Loved it. Really loved it. Poor Hoggle - no wonder Didymus ended up guarding that bridge cos it's about all he's fit for. And that line "Jareth would have my hide to make a pair of boots out of" made me laugh out loud: that's so in character for him. |
SafireGriffon 2006-11-13 . chapter 1Too much fun? Nonsense! I had a lot of fun reading it! ^_^ I loved all the little "sayings" throughout--and who woulda thought the secret ingredient was water from the bog of eternal stench? No wonder he wants Jareth to think that he hates the place so much; he doesn't want to be found going there to use the water for his fairy spray! |
 hey 2006-11-06 . chapter 1 it's nice to see a non j/s shipping. kudos! |
orientalbunny 2006-05-23 . chapter 1I agree with everyone here, it is refreshing, amusing, and the characters are dead on. Hooray for Hoggle and Sir Didymus for livening up an ordinary day! |
 Anij 2006-05-10 . chapter 1poor Sir Didymus,
well placed intentions do not assistance make. |
Anaferish 2006-05-03 . chapter 1Yay! That was very Terry Pratchett...I loved it. And people hardly ever write about Hoggle or Didymus. You got their characters dead on and it was amusing as well. It made me think, I'd love to see a little story like that about the guards, Ralph and Alph. |
Kellianne 2006-05-02 . chapter 1You write humor and drama equally well! Thanks for giving me a smile and some good, solid prose just when I needed it most. Now if you can just convice the state of Texas to give me a driver's license, I'll truly be forever in your debt... |
Ridel 2006-05-02 . chapter 1Ah. A Pratchett fan I see! Or at least someone who has read "Interesting times."
Nobody rights stories about Hoggle and he's one of my fave characters! So this was a nice change of pace. Thank you very much! ;)
