I love this story! the little details such as mickey playing solitaire are nice. The father/son relationship between jack and mickey is shown really well.

I can't believe I've never reviewed this before. I love this little fic, its so sweet and tender. Jack is so right. Mickey does need some happiness.

And I like how you ended on Jack's question to himself. Are you thinking of a sequel or a continuation about this?
