bookivore 2009-10-29 . chapter 9I've just skimmed the 1st story in this series and reread this one because it is just so wonderful. The work involved in extrapolating things from canon is visible in how real it feels (not to mention the footnotes, of course). This is one of those stories that allows the characters to move on to the level of wisdom that alas is not evident in the series, where apparently the ends justify the means and what is done by the good guys is automatically the right thing. |
magialuna 2009-10-21 . chapter 9.This was such a great story! I am glad when you responded to my feedback that you mentioned it. I had seen the summary but am not a huge Percy fan so I hadn't planned on reading it. That would have been my loss. This was really a great story and I loved how you showed all the lessons Severus had leared over the years and also I LOVED their relationship. How terribly sad that he had not ever told her about the prophecy! I really enjoyed the conversation between Harry and Severus... very well done. Even the little things like Harry's nervous playing with the quill and Severus taking it away and repairing it. (I hate when people pick up my stuff and mess with it. I can totally see him just itching to snatch it out of Harry's hand.)
Thanks for sharing this and also for continuing the story. In a lot of stories I almost feel cheated... we went through all the *stuff* that it takes to get the couple together but don't get to see how they *are* together. This was a huge payoff to the other story. I really enjoy reading these two interacting together as a couple. I also loved Snape as *Dad*... so Snape yet with a touch of vulnerability and love.

Mrs.Bookworm 2009-04-14 . chapter 9Of course I wouldn't have dared to now read the sequel of a wonderful story. Although I expected a little bit more bickering from our favorite pairing, I think this story was absolutely wonderful; I've always liked Percy and it's great someone has done him justice. Thank you! |
 mroczna88 2009-03-31 . chapter 9Ok, I'm done:)
I like sequel better than first story(maybe because Snape is here himelf). I see that your writing is better then it was. Maybe matter of time?
I like Ginny and Neville in this fanfic. I don't like both Ron and Harry. Understand Percy/Adam.
Just- so cool :) |
mroczna88 2009-03-31 . chapter 8"trying to find a way not to criticise" hah- poor Snape xD Children had learn that he's a human, not a bat xD Funny, really.
And thing that I like about this fanfic- Snape and Lilly are friends, not his love, not something more. And I like it. |
mroczna88 2009-03-31 . chapter 7Hmm... He's rather dull to understand this after 17years. And I don't believe Harry didn't tell him that before. But- that's ok :) I don't like trio not to be together. |
mroczna88 2009-03-31 . chapter 5"Or did he just say, ‘Ask your mother’?”" HAHAHA! That was awesome! I love Snape being a father! :} But I pity Callie and Cammy for having such a father. I hope that Ginny and Hermione could be still friends. And I like "friendship" between Snape and Neville. |
mroczna88 2009-03-31 . chapter 4Y... Poor Molly, she always is trying to find a good side of her children. I think that in such a big family everyone has to feel bad- Billy being eldest, Charlie always loosing to his brother, Percy-we know why, twins-joking and always compared to Bill and Percy, Ron-like twins but he has no such a talent and her mother was concerned about Ginny, Ginny- only daughter without really friendship. So much angst. |
mroczna88 2009-03-31 . chapter 3Now, as never, I understand how much Hermione fits Snape. She's too intelligent to be with hot-blooded and stupid Ron. All Weasleys are thick-headed(excluding Bill, Charlie little). And I don't believe Rons hate for Snape is bigger than his friendship and love for Hermione.
And where is Harry? O_o
But- I like sequel much better :) |
mroczna88 2009-03-31 . chapter 1"Neville frowned, scanning the Gryffindor table and tallying up how many other nephews and nieces he’d be teaching. Two of Bill’s, two of Charlie’s, three of Ron’s, one each of the twins’ and, of course, there were his own two sons. Bill’s girls were at Beauxbatons."
HAHAHA! I'm completely lose about all this children! And- Percy did a good job >:P |
draco-severus-mmm 2009-01-03 . chapter 9Wow, that's a nice way to (more or less) finalise Everything I've Ever Done. I like how you managed to incorporate Percy into the story and I have to admit, you brought up a HUGE amount of back-story/other opinion as to why Percy went the way he did. Very, very believable and a great way to look at the incidents of HP in another light. We only ever hear it from Harry's perspective and at 15 years of age, he is not old enough to fully understand why he did it. That's one of the reasons why I like fanfiction - it gives others a newfound perspective on things that otherwise they may not have thought about and this helped in my opinions that Snape was always a good person, even though in my heart I always hoped he would be and in my head the evidence was such that he couldn't be anything but.
Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this and look forward to reading more of your stories.

draco-severus-mmm 2009-01-03 . chapter 1I can't believe it has been almost 3 years since I first read Everything I Have Ever Done. I just read it then and have started to read your sequel. You advised me on other fics of yours to read way back then and whilst it has taken some time I am finally starting to. I realise now that when you suggested your fics to read I was in the middle of a very hectic time and would no doubt have simply forgotten, but I kept your email with the titles and in the last couple of days was able to go over it and source out the ones that you suggested. Although I thought I would read EIHED first, because it had been such a long time and I remember it being very well written.
I am glad to start reading the continuation of your story finally, as I read Backbone and thought that it was written well and so I will eventually read more of your stories.
Thank you,
~ Samantha. |
Charlotte 2008-08-30 . chapter 9 Lovely! Just like the other... |
Mommy2 2008-03-11 . chapter 9Wow! I discivered you through Bellgeste and I'm glad I did. Mature writers (no insult, I'm a 63 yo Bubbie)are, by far, the best. There is life-wisdom and an excellent command of the language that is impossible to find in a 14 yo.
Thank you for your great stories and please keep it up. |
Bemoan 2008-02-01 . chapter 8“How do you think most Dark Lords start? By being the biggest bully in the playground, far too often…” Yes James who would not say mudblood or use dark magic but who would call someone else a bad name and with full intention humiliate someone in public. I just think he is the most hypercritical self righteousness…okay just my thinking…this character just…anyway.
“spoilt brat of a father” This was just enforced in DH. I thought we were going to be shown how he changed.
I also like how you have Harry told Severus how he knows about the prophecy. Even though don’t think that he was totally too blamed. Trelawny know as a charlatan, Dumbledore and his brother letting Snape escape without olivating him, James not making himself or Dumbledore secret keeper, Sirius great idea of making Peter and it just goes on and on. |
