Very Sweet, where have you been all my life Katia-chan! I always teared up in that part of the series where Momiji mentioned his mother and that flash back with Hatori and Kana. I didn't thik it was out of character at all, Momiji and him have soemthing in common, and Momiji wouldn't give him greif like his two friends would.

Oh... I read it again, and now I'm verging on tears again. If there weren't people around... I wish I could take this in my room...
Anyway, give me a minute to collect myself and I'll review.
Okay.
The opening. Right from the first sentence, I am so hooked. That kind of thing can so easily slip into cliche or melodrama, and you nailed it so exactly... it's beautiful.
The hands, and the hole... perfect. The stuff about Aya making/letting him lie, putting him back in his niche, is so heartbreakingly wonderful.
All of the litte quotes are chosen and placed so brilliantly. There weren't many things I liked about the anime, but Kana's voice was one of them, and I can just hear her delivery all over again in just the right places to shatter everything.
Him not feeling guilt then, and it stabbing him now...
When he thought Akito was coming in - that's where I break down every time. God, just those three paragraphs and... it's just so sad, their entire relationship, how twisted it got even though they love each other. How Akito just holds on too hard, and it gets cramped and fall apart.
Everything with Momiji tears me apart inside all over again, and his having to feel his own guilt now...
And the end is so bittersweet.
This story is, in short, exquisitely, perfectly painful.

Beautiful, I loved it, the momiji/hatori part was amazing, how hatori felt was..sad but good at the same time, everything was wonderful and very well written, it's going on my favs.

You know, Momiji and Hatori... that's such a perfect and beautiful image you've created there.

I feel as though I should have something more constructive to say. But... AP test tomorrow is my excuse.
