Invader Johnny 11/10/10 . chapter 1
Holy shit on a stick, Gaz went from evil and creepy to having a twisted sense of justice, for once she actually SCATED the hell out of me!

Invader Johnny Signing Off.

Well THAT ending was horribly, unbelievably creepy. 8-o Now the parts that were confusing me made sense, though...for some reason I thought the funeral mentioned earlier was Membrane's, probably just because that would have been the most obvious.

Anyway, this was definitely a powerful story...I kind of wish we saw some of Gaz with her child, so we could see to what degree this was grief and to what degree just pure, undiluted horror. But anyway, I think you definitely got the desired result, because you really freaked me out there.

Oh yikes. Your Gaz is truely, truely frightening.

What scares me more is, I don't know if what she did was out of twisted love for her lost child, or simply her taking the "justice" she felt entitled to.

For someone who dislikes Gaz as much as your profile says, you have a talent for writing her in a believable, and terrifying, way.

Hah! I liked this greatly! Indeedly doodle! Killing that horrible woman's daughter! Bleh! This story left a good taste on my tongue! It was horribly amazing, and amazingly horrible (but written very well, that's what I mean, heh!).

"An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth

Just leaves you blind and toothless."

Gaz must've forgotten the second verse there, mm? And it's so great how the love in avenging her daughter surpassed the love for the actual daughter! Yee!

“Oh, how Gaz loved her revenge”

What has always fascinated me about Gaz is that she is totally, resoundedly wicked. Out of the four vices that I hold in the highest regard (or lowest, depending on which way you look at it) - selfishness, ignorance, deception and hypocrisy – she has three, and they’re magnified to such an extreme state that it could only exist in someone’s mind.

But what we see here is the result that has far too often spread throughout humanity, far from any primitive societies or cultures, when one decides that something needs to be rectified by any means necessary. The only thing ‘Gaz’ about this is the incredible amount of dispassion that she exhibits, revealing herself to the world as the perfect example of a sociopath. At least she was right about being superior in one regard.

In other news: The thought of Gaz with a kid is quite possibly the scariest thought that has ever crossed my mind. Good job.

Wow, that was just...wow.

I am astonished (ok, well, maybe not astonished) that Gaz actually developed a sense of justice possibly more twisted than she had when she was a child.

I had to reread the line about her snapping the kids neck several times. It was surprising, even though it's definitely not above Gaz to do something like that. What really got me, though, was that the girl SMILED at her before Gaz brutally murdered her! Ugh.

Another thing I have to question is that, if she didn't love her child nearly as much as she loved revenge (how much DID she love her kid, anyway?) then was she just waiting for something like that to happen? Just so she could dish out her revenge in the manner in which she did? If that's true, then that's even more disturbing than the act of murder, itself, in my mind.

*faves like crazy*

With the two reviews below, I had to point out something.

The child wasn't driving the offending car, and the idea of killing this child because Gaz lost hers (regardless of whose car and whose child it was) is abhorrent to all civilized societies today. If Gaz swaggered around as an adult doing the very same things she did as a child, lashing out just as hard at people for real offenses and trivial ones, she very likely WOULD end up behind bars. While not much justice exists in the Invader Zim world, some things aren't acceptable ANYWHERE.

OH thou art cruel Gaz! but, yet, the woman should have been more careful when driving...after all...an eye for an eye...

Gaz. Having a child. Those words should never be used in the same sentence.

Still, you've aged Gaz in a believable way. Most IZ fans wonder what Gaz will do when she grows up. It's very likely that she'll end up in prison (or at least she will if there is any justice in the IZ world).

I like the foreshadowing in "the last time she'd seen him was at the funeral."

Claps, claps and claps some more, THIS is one hell of a Gaz story, I liked it very much, even thought it seems that Gaz isn't your favorite character, you still managed to have her IC and that's pretty cool because some people seem to have her acting a little nicer in the FFn world.
