And the last part...chilling. Very nicely done.

And I think *that* sums up this entire chapter. Beautifully written.

The detail--"and each time it appeared Sirius counted its toes"--is wonderful.

I love the part about counting the dreams in his eyes...this whole story is very poetic. Well-done.

The first chapter is still my favorite...I knew where it was going the second I started reading. Or so I believe.

"Our James." How very sweet. I wrote an entire fic about James and Lily's wedding, and never did I even think about the fact that Sirius might think he was losing his friend...

"Sirius grinned and stood up. It was amazing how undrunk he could seem when he was truly smashed. With all the coordination in the world, he lifted Lily up and carried her to the dance floor. The two of them danced happily for at least three songs, unaware that James, watching from the side, was grinning like crazy." Aside from the genius of the "truly smashed" bit...this is just wonderful. You are a gifted writer, methinks.

I do have to say (don't you love my snarkly little comments) that I'm not a Remus/Sirius person...but that's just because I'm definitely sure that they're both straight as can be. haha. It's okay, though...I do like some slashfics...idk.

It's irrelevant because in this story I would like just about anything you wrote.

Love the loss of words! I bet those are the only times that Sirius has ever been unable to come up with anything to say. And may I just say 'aw' to the brotherly bonding! I love your Sirius-Regulus relationshp. Many people try to make them hate each other in childhood, but I agree that they would have comrades. Well, I'm getting through them. Maybe I will have them all in by the end of the weekend :).

Aw, cuteness! Poor Sirius, adorable Remus! They're just so precious! Congrats dude, on and you did it again, drawing parallels in life. Don't worry, it's a good thing. Just something you seem to be able to pull out and imagine in different stages of their lives. Ok, onwards, ever onwards.
