It is so rare to find someone who is actually capable of writing so incredibly well on this site. I'm truly happy that I stumbled across this story because it is by far the best written piece of literature I have come across in awhile! Good job, your ideas are so complete and the emotions of Lulu and Wakka are spot on with their characters which is especially hard to do with Lulu because of how complex she is. I loved the imagery you used throughout the story but especially when Lulu was swimming in the water. Again that was amazing and I would be thrilled if you wrote some more Lulu/Wakka romances because they are by far my favorite couple and you definitely do them justice.

Finally, a good Lulu/Wakka fic! Not enough of these on the 'Net, I say. The whole sleeping-together-that-soon-afterwards thing seems a letle too fast, I suppose, but then considering the characters I guess it is possible.

Wakka and Lulu Rock

*wistful* I still can't quite believe it. I'm very fond of both characters, and yet I have never been able to grasp how they could fit together as life partners, the simple and down-to-earth athlete and the shrewd, etherial woman with the powers of the elements and death at her fingertips. I've never understood how Square could brush aside Lulu's adamant, "You would do well to remember that... I won't forget" when she explains to Tidus why she and Wakka don't work. However, you convince me better than Square ever did. Your portrait of Lu is particularly spot-on. It's touchingly sweet to see them happy at last. Not to mention it's a deliciously sensual story; Lulu's dress style hints at a rather sensual person locked behind those chains of disdain and pragmatism. I am glad that you threw in a thunderclap. That seems apt punctuation for the character.

Oh dear lord that was the most adorable thing I've ever read. *.* +fav for rizzle. Don't see too many Lukkas, that's for sure. And it's a real shame... They're so adorable together.
