Whoa... That was something I hadn't read before; very interesting take! You do have a rather detached style here, something that another author mentioned in another review. I think it kinda helps portray Itachi's detached-ness. Yep, dark, but very well done, imo. Nice job, and good luck on your future works!

Freaking awesome! I love it! The tone is so detached and the detail gives you just enough insight to make it somewhat real. I love it! I can't wait to read more of your stuff! I love all of the emotions you put it. You tend to lean towards the darker emotions, and you make them SO dark, it's impossibly deep and yet so clear because you see how all aspects of the emotion.
