Ah, your story has definitely caught my attention.
It was an interesting twist you added (making Kanika forget about Kuru Eruna and such). No pressure to update, 'cause I know how evil school is.

Wow...just...wow. Really well written, and yes, this is eons late to be making a review, but *shrugs* better late than never, I suppose.

A suggestion for your next chapter could be to have one in Bakura's POV, and have him get a job as a guard at the (future?) wedding and just as she's about to kiss Atem, she recognizes and remembers him. And so she goes to Bakura instead. Have Atem be disappointed, but understanding, but the rest of the guards be homicidal. Then you can have them make a thrilling and daring escape.

Or not... That was just my wild, dramatic side coming out on a whim. *shrugs* do what you like, but I do hope you update soon. It'd be just a shame to see such a great idea go to waste.
