I wasn't going to leave a review but I changed my mind.

Normally, when I see an AN that says 'review and give me ideas!' I stop bothering with a story. If you started the story, you should have a pretty good idea of where you want it to go and how you plan to end it. You shouldn't be counting on other ppl supplying the idea.

I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm dictating or being condescending or rude or whatever the hell else you might think, but the truth is that I find immensely distasteful when a writer doesn't seem to have a pretty definite plan with their fic. If you don't know where you're taking the story, why should I bother trying to stick around? Who knows what insane ideas or decisions you might decide on?

And the sad thing is, you have some good ideas here and the writing is really decent. It's got potential, but I can't help the way I feel - the vibes I'm getting about the lack of clear direction are really off-putting.

Good luck with the rest of your story, though.

Please update soon and great job! I don't have any inspiration right now, but I'll try to think of some ideas in the future and probably review again with those new ideas. Also, instead of doing that contest thing, you could just ask some questions from the harry potter books or movies, or you could just ask some random questions. If someone gets the answer right, you could just mention them in your author's notes at the beginning or end of a chapter and give them cookies. I'll try to think of ideas!

p.s, I am not an author, just got the idea from a different fic I was reading.
