That long gushing review I wrote for "Almost Perfect"? It applies here, as well, for Callie. Again, a character we don't really see reach her full potential in canon. (I would rewrite the whole review, tweaked to fit Callie more...but it's in the wee morning hours now, and I really should be turning in...)

So I'm finally catching up on fics I should have read a LONG time ago...

I never had a problem with Callie's character. If not for the Supermysteries, I would have never imagined Frank hooking up with anyone else besides Miss Shaw.

This was really sweet. I got a great sense of the affection and attraction Callie has for and towards Brent. It's so seldom Callie is the focus of a fic, that I'm glad you've treated her with respect and dignity.

I liked the story and am glad you wrote it in a way that let everyone be happy.

*claps hands* Yay! Now I know what happened to Callie! I'm glad you made her happy for them, istead of bitter. I didn't used to like Callie, either, but now I think she's okay. She's kinda like Nancy, only more hot-headed and a bit more emotional. After all that Callie and Frank went through together (including the death of their mutual friend, Iola), it's hard for me to imagine them not being able to remain friends, even after a break-up. Sometimes I really like some drama and jealousy, but I always like a happy ending for everyone, including Ned and Callie. Great story, even if it's short! :) Now I'm ready for some other fics! ;)

Wonderful, as usual! I liked the way you made Callie's personality laid back and cool. But I must admit, it's fun sometimes to see her portryed as a jealous B... ;p I'm glad that she & Nancy are finally able to be friends (now that they both don't like the same guy) & that she and Frank are better off as friends. Can't wait for your next story! I think if you do write a story about F/N wedding you should put Callie & Brent as guest appearances...

Your right. Callie isn't as uptight as Ned. Though I wouldn't know as much, since I've only read 2 or 3 Hardy Boys Books and like a million Nancy Drew (that was when I still liked Ned, also before I knew about the Supermysteries, where Nancy and Frank are perfect for each other.). It's just always fun to make Ned and Callie mean, gives some excitement to the story. But you did a really good job relating Callie's character. Can't wait until you write the sequel to NHTGM! Start it soon!

Callie is better in this story, she doesnt hate Nancy, which is a good thing. i like it.
