BTW, when I wrote this story, I was unaware of the canonical first meeting consisting of a fender bender as described by Steed and Emma in dialog in "Death's Door". I attempted a lame retrocon in "Alpine Ice" by having the fender bender be a "cover story" they both agreed on, such that the dialog in "Death's Door" was meant to be the two of them teasing each other about the cover-story meeting. My bad.

Other beautiful end, i enjoy a lot, and can see the "change of guard" beside Steed, because Mrs. Peel start to interac with him. Well done again, as usual, and thank for sharing.

Magnific scene between Steed and the brave Mrs. Peel, a promise for the near future, i hope. Well done.

My God, poor Steed, and bravo for our brave Emma, both very well portrayed.

Perhaps not canonical, but very good version of the first meeting between Steed and Emma, in the impredictable Amazonas. The plot's development is very good too in this chapter.

I yet wonder how can you know so many things about the Sudamerican stuff: the Cuba-60's subject, the planes, the politic, the Falkland Islans (oddly, but us call Malvinas) etc, etc. And the development and progression in the (whole) storie, all is perfect. Congratulations. Seem this one would be a magnific fic (again)

This is me hoping desperately that there's more to this story. I can't say enough about any writers I stumble across here who understand the importance of correct grammar and spelling as well as getting the 'voices' of their borrowed characters right. I'm off to sample some of your other offerings, but thank you for this little gem.

What a great opening! You are very adept at setting a fast pace, and the humorous touches that pervade your stories are very effective. I look forward to reading more...
