It's a very interesting story and i like how you show the complete destruction of Aeris and Sephiroth relationship.

But there something i don't fully understand, when Sephiroth told Aeris that she will merge with Jenova in order to purge her human imperfection, Sephiroth think she will be purified, but in reality does this plan is only a way for Jenova to have a new functional body and to possess the power of the cetras?

As always another excellent installment in the TLAA series!
The fight scene was great, I'm actually able to follow (I usually don't like to read fight scenes). Seph busting out in the last spurt was great (and surprising) too. Oh, and another thing, that old FF7 original developmental story thing is true! I've actually read that somewhere in a gaming magazine i think. So i guess you can trust that wiki source, lol. Well, looking forward to the next chapter!

Ah, another excellent chapter, although honestly, deep down, I was hoping Sephiroth would stop them at the end, just to get away from the usual cliches, but alas, that wouldn't make for very good storytelling, unless there was a twist to it later down the road.

To be honest, I like it in stories when the villain ultimately wins (at the very least at some level, like managing to defeat the heroes even if his objective ended in failure). I guess that would attribute as to why I usually hate the endings to most video games and anime/manga. Oh well, just rambling about my personal tastes at this point. In any case, looking forward to the next update!

Wow... that chapter was really amazing.. I'm a bit shocked, but... it's great! this is one of the best chapters you've ever written in my opinion. Yet it was painful to see Yazoo and Loz fighting against each other..I love this two! They're so strange and different, but they're brothers after all, even if not in the common way, and it can't end like this!How will react Kadaj and Aerith when they know that Yazoo had to abandon him?
I've listened to "requiem for a dream" while I was reading this since it was of your musical muses: the effect is just...epic and the song is so beautiful( i've used it once for a video about Genesis. My account name is AngelinHell8 if you want to search for it.)

What an intense chapter! What the last one had in word intensity, this one had in action! When I read it, I was just coming back from watchin 2012, so nightmarish and apocaleptic sceneries were very easy to imagine. ;)

I very much liked aeris's will in this one. I no longer perceive her as being so "easily influenced", nor as weak as before as she dived into the lifestream, struggling to save someone she thought so annoying a few chapters before. (How everything changed!) She has a new strenght, motivated perhaps by despair, but still, I have the feeling she will definetly stomp her foot on the ground soon and say "enough's enough!" hehehe

Your chapter reminds me of a song, "dance with the devil", by breaking benjamin.to me, the lyrics voices each characters's thoughts in turn :)

So confused... Don't misunderstand me, i liked this chapter, it's so intense, but i'm confused for i can't absolutely guess what will happen... What will Aeris do? Will she help kadaj( it would be time to do so, poor kadaj) and then tell everyone that Sephi is going to sacrifice them all? The remnant already know this.. damn it, i'm so damned confused and curious!
Anyway this obsessed Sephi appeared to me even less human of the one i remembered... Is this because of his second journey throught the lifestream?
It makes me mad of rage the way he is so confident in himself! Go on Aeris! I never really liked her weakness, she cryes too often to my liking, but now i start to appreciate her!
This chapter was pure madness... and haunted was the perfect soundtrack XD... go on like this!

All I have to say is "Wow".
Just one big "Wow".
