Once again, I like the way that you depict the similarities between the different times, and also your reference to the last scene from 'Roses' in "The Cape". Nicely done, all of it. I really enjoy the conflicting emotions of the two of them in this one. Keep it up!
Bottlebrush 2006-05-05 ch 1,	abuseCleverly constructed story. I like the placing together of the two occasions – so similar and yet so very different. I like the reasons running through Remus’s head in the first part, telling why he can’t just open the door – very believable. And in the second part, the thoughts that are stopping Sirius from ringing the bell. But when they do meet, the awkwardness just melts away in the rain. It’s a somehow peaceful sort of story, a touch of happiness in the middle of war and anxiety.
