I liked your story. It makes me sad that to think "Come What May" when we know what happens only a minute later. Dean did look so sad in the rearview mirror and it's crazy how much Sam and Dean's relationship has changed over the course of the show. I think Sam realy does understand now.

Really, really, really good. Exactly what Sam would have been thinking. I liked the part about him being "fragile. Handle with care." That fit perfectly. And I loved the part about vengeance for the dead not being worth the lives of those you loved. Sam's figured it out. In the show and in your fic. You portrayed that wonderfully.
