Very dark, but also fascinating. Descriptions were fabulous. I thought it was Lucius Malfoy at first. Very suspenseful and it's one of the darkest fics I've read, but also one of the best. In the beginning, I believed the ring would immediately kill May like the neckalace Katie had in the sixth book, but the little voice inside her head telling her to commit suicide was even better. Creative. Lucius would do that to Narcissa? The end - creepy and leaves you with bated breath!

This has to be one of the greatest works of fanfiction I have come across. Your descriptions are compelling, vivid and entirely plausable. The plot entralled me from the get go. The entire story is so perfectly executed!

Hardly surprising it won first place. I can barely fault it. Polished to perfection, rather like the diamond on the cursed ring, methinks. Evocative, cinematic, wonderful.

And just when I thought this was all about OCs (and I did think I'd got it wrong when I thought it was Lucius at the start when you then went on to Everett. See, I thought Lucius/Everett had haggled his way down in price!), you end on a wonderful twist.
